The National Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urban Planning (EPAU) is honored to announce the official grant of Patent No. 13064 by the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI).

This achievement, entitled “Energy Generation Panel Combining Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Technologies,” represents a significant collaborative research effort and a notable advancement in the field of sustainable energy systems.

On this occasion, we wish to pay special tribute to our late colleague, Dr. Fatima Arhab. As a researcher within the City, Architecture and Heritage Laboratory at EPAU and a co-inventor of this innovation, she played a fundamental role in the realization of this work.

Her recent passing has deeply affected our academic community. The granting of this patent stands today as a recognition of her rigor, dedication to scientific research, and the excellence of her academic contributions to our institution.

We also extend our sincere congratulations to all members of the research team and acknowledge the valuable collaboration with our institutional partners: the Research Center on Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST) and Hassiba Benbouali University of Chlef.

May this official recognition remain a lasting testament to her work and meaningful contributions.
